Xiaomi Redmi Note 3
Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 is all set to be launched in India. The Chinese smartphone giant has confirmed this, and the device shall be launched on 3rd Marsh and the company will be holding an event at Talkatora Stadium in New Delhi, which will be open to fans as well .
Redmi note 3 is basically available in two variants (2GB RAM/16GB ROM and 3GB RAM/32GB ROM ,*all other features are common)
The variant with 2GB RAM is currently being sold for 189$ and the other one for 225$ in the international markets , and the same price is being expected for the Indian market too.
Note 3 is really big device measuring 150 x 76 x 8.7 mm (5.91 x 2.99 x 0.34 in) and weighs 168g. It boasts of having a 5.5-inch full-HD 1080×1920 (~403 ppi pixel density) pixels ,IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors display that offers 178 degree viewing angle, which is a real treat for gamers. The device like most of the other mi devices supports Dual SIM (Micro-SIM, dual standby).
It runs MIUI 7 based on Android OS, v5.0.2 (Lollipop) for now, buyers may soon get an update for android v5.1 , or may even get an direct update for Marshmallow(android v6.0) as news from some sources suggest that Google might launch it in a month or two.
The device has a Mediatek MT6795 Helio X10 chipset and an Octa-core 2.0 GHz Cortex-A53 processor ,with such a good processor it shall eat through any game like a hot chainsaw through a barrel of butter. But , this device hasn’t been provided with a card slot , this shall leave us totally depend on the Internal memory.
It has a 13 MP, 4128 x 3096 pixels, phase detection autofocus, dual-LED (dual tone) flash primary camera and a 5 MP, f/2.0, 1080p secondary camera and also shoots videos at 1080p.
Like all upcoming devices in 2016 , this device too has a fingerprint scanner, and a flawless metal body (a legacy that was started by Apple, is now a common feature )
The handset packs a non-removable Li-Po 4000 mAh battery with fast charging support that can charge up to 50 percent in 1 hour.
