Oppo Neo 7 officially listed on the company site
Oppo has now introduced the all-new Oppo Neo 7, soon after the launch of its R7s smartphone last week. The Oppo Neo 7 is now listed on the company’s website; however there are no details about its pricing and availability. In the following days one can expect Oppo to announce all the required details of the smartphone.
Oppo Neo 7 Specifications
As per the listing page on the company’s site there will definitely be an India version of the Oppo Neo 7 suggesting support for Indian 4G LTE bands. Coming to the specifications, the Oppo Neo 7 features a 5-inch qHD (540×960 pixels) TFT display and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with the company’s custom ColorOS 2.1 skin on top. It measures 142.7×71.7×7.55mm and weighs 141 grams. Talking about the processor the smartphone is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) processor clocked at 1.2GHz coupled with Adreno 306 and 1GB of RAM. The storage capacity of the handset will be 16GB (internal) and could be expandable via microSD card up to 128GB.
For camera, the Oppo Neo 7 has an 8-megapixel rear camera with flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The company listing suggests that Neo 7’s screen lights up to brighten selfies in low light condition. This is possible with a light-sensitive sensor that can adjust the screen’s brightness according to available light.
Oppo Neo 7 comes with dual-SIM cards feature, having one Micro-SIM and another Nano-SIM. Its connectivity options include 4G, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro-USB and GPS. It has a non-removable battery of 2420mAh and the color variants include Black and White.
As for now, it is unclear what the pricing structure will be like for the Neo 7, but we can expect it to be priced in the same range as the Neo 5, which costs Rs 9,990.
