OnePlus X: Latest model by the OnePlus
OnePlus has its third smartphone on its way to be launched this year. The OnePlus X is expected to be officially presented later this month, on October 29. This latest handset is considered to be a smaller and cheaper phone than the OnePlus 2.
Having a 5-inch screen, the OnePlus X allegedly measures 140 x 69 x 6.9 mm, which is obviously smaller than the previous OnePlus models i.e. OnePlus One and OnePlus 2 (both of which are offering 5.5-inch displays). Some of the other features and specifications of the OnePlus X are as follows:
|Processor||Snapdragon 801 2.5 Ghz|
|Operating System||Oxygen OS based on Android 5.1|
|Rear Camera||13 MP|
|Front Camera||8 MP|
The OnePlus X cost could be as low as $220 in China, and slightly more in other parts of the world. In India it might cost around Rs.15,000. However the official prices are yet to be announced.
Recently the price and specifications of OnePlus X was leaked on the website of Amazon India along with an image for a short while. The listing page also mentioned “Synaptics’ ClearForce Technology,” which is similar to the Force Touch technology shown in the Huawei Mate S and Apple’s iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. However the page has since been taken down.
Thanks to various leaked images, we have a fair idea of what the handset might look like. Until now, we’ve only seen the black variant of the OnePlus X. However it is also rumored that the model will have a white variant as well. One would have to wait for the official statements to be announced as all these features are close speculations.
