Motorola Moto G Turbo Edition unveiled in Mexico
Motorola has reportedly unveiled a new variant of its Moto G smartphone in Mexico known as the Moto G Turbo Edition. Up until now the company’s brand ‘Turbo’ was only limited to its Droid series of smartphones. This latest handset is reportedly said to be available for sale in Mexico from November 13 and would cost around $283 (approx. Rs. 18,600).
The Motorola Moto G Turbo Edition Specifications
The Motorola Moto G Turbo Edition has definitely got some great features. It sports a 5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) resolution display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 coating. Running on the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, this smartphone is packed with a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, Adreno 405 GPU and a 2GB RAM. It also supports dual-SIM (Micro-SIM card) feature. Talking about the storage capacity, the Motorola Moto G Turbo edition has a 16GB of inbuilt storage which is further expandable via MicroSD card. In addition, it has a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera. Coming to the connectivity feature of the handset, it has all the usual options including 3G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and Micro-USB.
Further the smartphone is supposedly water resistant as it is IP67 certified and can withstand immersion in water (up to 3 feet) for almost 30 minutes. It is backed by 2470mAh battery and also supports Motorola Turbo Power quick charging.
The Motorola Moto G Turbo Edition seems a bit pricey for the given features however details for its availability in other countries and the cost are still unknown.
