Microsoft Windows 10 Features

Microsoft is bringing various number of features in its new windows. The company has focused to provide better graphical user interface and to increase the efficiency and performance of the system.

Start Menu: The Start menu is back. Yes, there are virtual desktops and the Charms bar hasn’t gone away. Even on the Start menu, we can pin Live Tiles in multiple sizes on the right, but on the left we also get the familiar list of pinned and recent applications, complete with jump lists for files, the search box that you can also use to run commands and a power button for shutting down or restarting your PC. We can change the size of Start menu by changing the height; changing the width means picking a setting rather than just dragging with the mouse.

Everything runs in a window: Apps from the Windows Store now open in the same format that desktop apps do and can be resized and moved around, and have title bars at the top allowing for maximize, minimize, and close with a click.

Snap enhancements: Microsoft Windows 10 will offer four snaps on the same screen and will allow you to see all snaps together.

New task view button: There’s a new task-view button on the taskbar for quick switching between open files and quick access to any desktops you create.
