Micromax’s Yu Yutopia to be launched soon
Micromax’s Yu is launching yet another smartphone, however this time it’ll be their first high end smartphone. The Yu Yutopia is rumoured to be out for sale this month i.e. November 2015. It will be company’s first smartphone featuring QHD display. After their budgeted handsets of under 10K- Yu Yureka, Yu Yuphoria, Yu Yureka Plus and Yu Yunique, the YuTeleventure is keeping its foot over high end smartphones.
Yu Yutopia’s expected features
First of all, the Yutopia will sport a metal body which has been hinted in one of its teasers also. All their previous handsets had plastic body considering they were all budgeted smartphones. Yu Yutopia will supposedly have top of the line specifications. It is expected to have a 5.2-inch screen with 2K QHD display. It will be powered by 64-bit Snapdragon 810 processor and a 4GB RAM. Talking about the camera, the phone will feature a 21MP rear camera and a 8MP front camera. As far as storage goes, it will have 32GB internal storage with an option of expandable SD card slot. The phone will run Cyanogenmod OS based on Android 5.1.1.
Earlier, Company founder Rahul Sharma in a Twitter post also introduced the Yu Yutopia as the “most powerful phone on the planet”. The company has been doing its promotions by challenging the smartphone OnePlus 2 over its 1080 Display and plastic body.
The Yu Yutopia is definitely packed with lots of features that we have not seen yet in Yu’s previous smartphones. The official release date and price is yet to be declared by the company but we can expect its price to be around Rs.20,000.
