Google Reveals its New Logo
Just a month after restructuring Google under Alphabet Inc. , Google today had revealed its new Logo . As per Google, this new logo would connect with wide users in a better way than the older one. Google’s previous logo was made considering the desktop PC’s , now it has focused equally on all the devices, including television ,tablet , mobile and desktop PC.
Even though Google had changed its logo in bits and pieces in past , but this time the change was quite a big one altogether ,introducing San-serif style and with the ‘e’ tilting approximately 15 degree to the left.
If you open Google , you will find an animated video of a hand erasing the old logo and introducing the users to the new one and yes it can be considered an another Google Doodle , but this time for Google only.
Google explains why this change is significant in the its Blog post as follows:
“Today we’re introducing a new logo and identity family that reflects this reality and shows you when the Google magic is working for you, even on the tiniest screens. As you’ll see, we’ve taken the Google logo and branding, which were originally built for a single desktop browser page, and updated them for a world of seamless computing across an endless number of devices and different kinds of inputs (such as tap, type and talk).
It doesn’t simply tell you that you’re using Google, but also shows you how Google is working for you. For example, new elements like a colorful Google mic help you identify and interact with Google whether you’re talking, tapping or typing. Meanwhile, we’re bidding adieu to the little blue “g” icon and replacing it with a four-color “G” that matches the logo.”
Google’s logo have always been different from logos of other brands like Amazon, Toyota etc. shows that it will not follow any rules.
