Gionee to launch Elife E8 in India on October 8
Gionee, the Chinese smart phone company is all set to launch a new version of its Elife E-series “Gionee Elife E8” on Thursday October 8. The company has sent press invites for the launch event at New Delhi, with the words “block your date for some gr8 news”. Rumours are that the company will also be announcing news related to its “big entry into e-commerce” alongside the launch.
The company has already launched E8 in China in June earlier this year. Gionee is all set to give a tough fight to big guns in the market like Samsung Galaxy Note 5, Apple iPhone 6S. Gionee has always produce something out of the box for Indian users specially.

Elife E8 comes with a 24 megapixel camera which, according to Gionee, can capture photographs in humongous 120 megapixel. The company further claimed that the Elife E8 has a ‘lossless’ zoom that maintain image quality even if the user keeps the zoom at 3X. Besides, it offers image stabilisation, 4K video recording, and auto focus ability in as little as 0.2 seconds.
Along with the launch of Elife E8, as per the invite, the company will also announce something big regarding its presence in “e-commerce space”. So the company could either revamp its existing online store or may even announce its partnership with other e-com players. Last year Gionee advised to its Indian customers that not to purchase Gionee products from online retailers. The company said that the independent retailers does not have any direct arrangement with the company. Gionee further classified that all its products should be purchased through its official website or via registered distributors. Possibilities are Gionee may tie up with any e-com players so that all the products of it can be sold by that site only.
Overall if we analyse this handset, we can see that company is bringing fabulous camera that will attract more Indian customers and this feature of Gionee will be giving a tougher competition to the big guns. This handset will be performing really well in the Indian market.
