Gionee Elife S7
Gionee has started to get the proper attention and interests of the users. Their flagship Elife S series phones have been able to grab the attention with their stylish slim designs and affordable features. The latest instalment by Gionee, The Elife S7,released this month of april promises to deliver the same and much more. It is priced at 24K in India.
The phone has a thickness of 5.5mm which makes it one of the slimmest high end phone. The earliest models had a thickness of 7mm but this breaks the record. The phone has a U-shaped design with aviation-level aluminium magnesium alloy infused frame around the phone which helps in maintaining the structural integrity of the body. The weight of the phone is 126.5g,which is quite light.
The phone is very sturdy and has no flex, it is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass on both sides. The Blue and Black colour models are prone to get fingerprints.

Elife S7 features a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED,16Mcolors display which is quite wide and covers most of the front and has a ~79.1% screen-to-body ratio. The resolution is 1080×1920 pixels with a ~424ppi pixel density. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 just like the back.
Gionee Elife S7 runs Android OS,v5.0 (lollipop) with a Mediatek MT6752 chipset. The CPU is an octa-core 1.7 GHz Cortex-A-53 processor and the graphics is taken care by Mali-T760MP2.
The phone comes as a single model which features 16 GB internal storage with no possibility of expansion as it lacks a microSD card slot. The RAM is a 2GB DDR3 which supports the octa-core processor.
The rear camera is a 13MP with a resolution of 4128×3096 pixels with LED flash and autofocus. It shoots at 1080p@30fps. The rear camera is massive 8MP camera which shoots sharp images and is ideal for video calling.
Elife S7 has a non-removable Li-ion 2700 mAh battery.
Though the company is not focused on making slimmest phones, yet it surprises users everytime. The latest user interface by Gionee, Amigo OS 3.0 tweaks the overall experience and the android Lollipop is the latest in the market. The camera shoots fine detailed images in incandescent light but the colours were slightly over-saturated, it might just be the display. The phone offers satisfactory features at 24k price. The front camera is great for taking selfies or making video calls .The drawback would be the lack of microSD card slot and the phone itself comes only in a 16GB model.
