BlackBerry’s second Android phone “Vienna” leaked out in images
BlackBerry’s second Android phone “Vienna” leaked out in images: Last week BlackBerry’s first Android based smartphone Blackberry Priv went on sale in the market. Just a few days later, the company has now hinted that it might have already started working on its second Android smartphone.
BlackBerry’s rumored second Android smartphone is said to be codenamed as “Vienna”. It has been leaked in images via Crackberry. Surely, this is the first incidence where images of the phone have been leaked on the Internet. However, image is the only thing about the smartphone we have with us for now. No other details have been announced by the company. One interesting thing to be noted is that the Blackberry Priv was given a codename “Venice” before its launch and now this rumored handset is codenamed as “Vienna”, both of which are the famous European cities.
If nothing else, we can see this from the leaked images that the phone will not have the slider design unlike its first Android smartphone. It will sport a physical QWERTY keyboard upfront just like the previous Blackberry phones. The front of the handset has the display screen and the physical keyboard below it. Also, the rear holds a camera with flash and the sides have the physical buttons for volume on the right panel and power on the left side.
Definitely one would have to wait for the company to make any concrete announcements about its new Android smartphone. Meanwhile, BlackBerry last week also gave a release time-frame for its rollout of the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update. The company is reportedly set to rollout ‘sometime in the New Year’.
