Apple Event Overview
Yesterday the Apple Event was held in San Francisco and it was the remarkable event all around the world. By Indian Standard Time, the event started at 10:30PM in India and continued for two hours and ended at 12:30AM . The event started with the entering of Apple CEO Tim Cook took the stage. Cook announced that the company will be going to make some “monster announcements” across several product ranges.
Apple launched various products in it’s mega event that held every year. This time the company focussed on future and launched products considering future aspects in mind.
Products launched in Apple Event
Apple Watch X Hermes:
Apple launched a high-end fashion house Hermes to create an entirely new collection that features hand stitched leather straps and a special watch face. The new collection will be available in October.
The watch comes in new colors as well gold and rose gold, and band colors for the fall. The device sells for the same price, starting at $349.
New software WatchOS2 will be available from September 16. It will also include third-party integration such as AirStrip and messaging apps like Facebook Messenger.
Apple has launched the new iPad Pro. It comes with biggest screen ever of 12.9-inches to accommodate gaming, entertainment, a full-size software keyboard and a multi-tasking tool. iPad Pro runs on the new A9x 64-bit chip that is 1.8 times faster than the previous generation.
Apple claims that iPad Pro can provide 10 hours of battery life per charge. It measures 6.9 mm thin, weighs roughly 1.5 pounds and has a 8MP camera.
With the iPad Pro also comes a smart keyboard accessory that attaches to the tablet magnetically. Apple’s also releasing a stylus to go along with the device called the Apple Pencil which charges via a Lightning port. iPad Pro starts at $ 799.
Apple launched iPad Mini 4. Apple’s 7.9-inch tablet has had its internals updated to be a near match for last year’s iPad Air 2. Therefore, Apple’s A8 processor is on board. This means Apple iPad mini 4 should be able to run all of iOS 9’s fancy new multitasking features.
The new iPad mini is slightly thinner and lighter than last year’s model, and Apple also upgraded the mini’s back camera. It now sports an 8-megapixel shooter. The price of Apple iPad Mini 4 is $399.
“We believe the future of television is apps,” Apple CEO Tim Cook say, introducing the event’s Apple TV segment.
The new Apple TV will include a Siri voice control feature and a touch-capable remote that doubles as a gaming controller. You can access Apple Photo and Music on the streaming device. The remote lasts approximately three months per charge and has a gyroscope for gaming.
The new Apple TV will sell for $149 for 32GB and $199 for 64GB in October – available in over 80 countries at launch and 100 countries by end of year.
Apple unveiled Apple iPad Pro, a bigger, more powerful iPad. The iPad Pro has a secret weapon — its stylus. Apple calls it the Apple Pencil. It features a lightning connector so that you can charge it directly to your iPad when you are not using it.
Eric Snowden from Adobe demoed Adobe Photoshop FX, a brand new app. As expected, you can draw using the stylus. Overall, it seems like this stylus works really quite well. When you draw something, it appears instantly on the screen.
The Apple Pencil is going to cost $99. It will available in November.
The wait was finally over when Apple launched two new iPhone in its event. They are Apple iPhone 6S and Apple iPhone 6S Plus. The iPhone 6s and 6s Plus come with the new A9 chip – 70 percent faster at CPU tasks and 90 percent faster for graphic tasks than the previous model.
iOS 9 will come standard with news and Apple Music App. iPhone 6s and 6s Plus will go for the same prices as the original iPhone 6 – starting at $199 for 16GB iPhone 6s and $299 for 16GB iPhone 6s Plus.
